My Advanced Online Photography Workshop is now open for registration!
Here are the details:
The cost is $350.00
The workshop will be of the same format as my beg/intermediate class which includes:
6 week course with a written lesson and assignment each week
A private message board just for the advanced class (on my brand NEW website which will be up and running in time for this class! so excited!!)
Individualized feedback each week on your assignments.
Here is a complete outline of the course and what you will learn each week:
And finally a few answers to some questions I have been receiving:
Question: Do I have to have Photoshop in order to take the course?
Answer: No, you do not have to purchase Photoshop. Because the workshop is based around what I do and what works for me, Photoshop is the software I will be teaching from. If you have PSE, you will still be able to do a lot of the things I will be teaching. I highly recommend downloading the 30 day free trial of Photoshop right before we get to that point in the class. That way you can follow along and learn all of the techniques I am teaching and then you can decide if it is worth the investment for you. (Same thing goes for Lightroom, although I will only be covering it briefly.)
Question: Do I have to take your beginner/intermediate class before I take the advanced?
Answer: It is not required but it is highly recommended. My advanced course does not teach how to shoot in manual and does not cover the basics of photography. If you are not comfortable shooting in manual, I would highly recommend taking the beg/intermediate course first.
Question: Is this class only for those looking to go professional with their photography?
Answer: Definitely not. I have had a wide mix of students take my beg/intermediate class - some that are looking to simply improve their skills and take better pictures of their kids/grandkids and others that are wanting to go pro. The advanced course is designed for all of my students, not just those looking to go pro. Whether you are just looking to improve your skills or take your photography business to a new creative level - this is the course for you.
Question: If I don't get into this first class, will you be offering this class again?
Answer: I have plans to offer the advanced course again but have not yet determined how many times each year or when the other dates will be yet. If you don't make it into this first class, please email me and I will add you to the wait list.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email me!
Do you include video with your workshop?

Let me clarify...
In addition to the written information, do you also use video or a slide show for your workshop?
:)
Thanks!
