It's no question that Kim is the master at designing and cutting gorgeous leaves and florals for her projects! I don't know about you but I just can't get enough of them! This time she has also cut a bunch of them from patterned paper for a different look and I absolutely LOVE it!! I also adore the fact that she is not afraid to use pinks on her boy layouts!!
Hi everyone! It's Kim here to share a fun layout with you today! I'm jumping full speed ahead into the upcoming season by creating this page full of pretty leaves. I cut them from some of the Styleboard collection papers and some from plain card stock. I love leaves and flowers and it's the one thing I cannot build a page without using. These were some that I drew onto the patterned paper and cut myself. What I love about paper cutting is you can make any kind of shapes that you want.
Some of the leaves were painted with some gelatos very lightly. I painted the ends a little darker for a more ombre effect.
The alphas were embossed using some gold embossing powder. At first I thought that the letters would melt but as long as you don't hold the heat gun too closely the powder will melt perfectly. They are really sparkly and pretty and I couldn't seem to capture the look in this photo.
Are you all ready for fall? It's my absolute favorite season for all sort of reasons but particularly because of the changing colors of the season.
Have a great week!
