Jessy has a gorgeous and super fun scrapbook layout to share with us today! The theme of her page is based on the popular instagram hashtag #ootd, which stands for "outfit of the day" in case you aren't familiar with it. I think it is such a clever and fun idea to create a page around this and definitely want to do it soon!! She has also used some amazing cut files including some of Kim's designs and continues to wow me with her beautiful design style!!
I always enjoy cutting files with my Silhouette Cameo. And once again, I decided to use my faithful cutting machine to create my layout. This time around, I got my inspiration from the family outfit - floral theme!
I absolutely love this diagonal frame that I bought in the Silhouette store. The original size is 4"x6" but I enlarged it to 8"x5.75" so I could use it on my layout. The sweet collection (black & white polka dot) patterned paper is absolutely fitting for this layout as it matched the floral themed outfit we were wearing.
The diagonal frame reminded me of those ribbon pin boards. And that's how I got the idea to slot the photos in between the cuts to give a fun twist to my layout.
Let's talk about this beautiful die cut flower. It is designed by my very artistic fellow teammate, Kim Stewart and is available at iheartstudio. I decided to use this flower die cut partly because of the family OOTD floral theme. The florals in our outfits inspired me to add this flower cut onto the layout.
That gold glittered frame & flair button added a classy look to it as well. I hope that you enjoyed my layout today! Have fun creating! Xoxo Jessy
