Hi there! I am definitely a fan of layering on my scrapbook layout because I love the dimension and texture it adds to a page! Today Kim is showing us how to layer with die cuts, patterned paper and crepe paper. I love that the effect is super soft and sweet while having such a dramatic impact at the same time!!
I'm an avid lover of layering. It creates such and explosion of fun and interest on a page. I usually make every attempt at squeezing lots of fun things together in a tight little space. For this project I decided to add a little crepe paper along one side just barely covering a small painted area. It wasn't intentional that the paint matched but once I looked the paint was super subtle and matched the crepe paper exactly.
From there I layered some other fun cuts and hand cut hearts from the collection papers. Instead of using lots of embellishments I layered lots of cut papers for a super airy layout.
It turned out to be such a sweet and soft page about my little niece.
