Today I am sharing the last layout I created for the Studio Calico booth at CHA!
This one uses the Printshop collection and although this wasn't a brand new release, it is one that I am still absolutely LOVING, so I thought you might enjoy a little inspiration!! This layout also uses some pieces from the new Lemonlush collection and the new Essentials line.
HOW TO >> I used this paper for the background, which to me is the perfect background paper because it has an interesting pattern but is subtle so it doesn't overtake the whole page! Then I used my other favorite paper from the collection and used an exacto knife to cut out some of the scallops. I then placed foam adhesive circles behind them so that they would pop up off the page! I loved the result!
I used the following supplies to embellish and create the layered look on top of and to the right and bottom of my photo >> vellum die cuts, stitched journaling cards, GOLD fabric bow, Wood Veneer, Plastic Measuring Tape Ribbon, Pink Button, Pink Chipboard Heart, & GOLD Doily.
HOW TO >> I added the shimmery metallic splatters with the Mister Huey's Calico Shine and Mister Huey's Opaque White. Instead of spraying them, I take the sprayer out of the bottle and flick the drops right onto the page. I LOVE this effect!
Let me know if you have any questions about the products used or techniques for creating this layout!!
