I'm so loving this month's CK Kit of the Month! At first glance I wasn't sure if this was something that I would be into but I am so glad that I decided to go for it! The folders are so fun to play around with - a different size and format than I usually use for my scrapbooks and once I started creating I found that I loved it!! It was fun to create three different "pages" that were separate layouts and yet they all work together as one big picture! There are so many possibilities with these folders and the products are all really cool and versatile too! My favorites are the transparencies and the little journaling spots - so fun! I know that I will be pulling elements from this kit for lots of other projects and layouts in the future!
Anyway, here is the folder that I created. There are two different types of folders included in the kit (you can see the other format on the KOTM website). I basically just created 3 different layouts/pages keeping in mind the big picture and the idea that I would want to have this on display so that you view the whole thing as one. Then I glued each of the pages onto the folder using regular scrapbook adhesive. Almost everything you see is from the kit (except for the large Making Memories brads and the little piece of Prima tape). I am not sure how many kits they have left but you can see the details and order it here.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day and a fun holiday weekend!! Does anyone have any fun plans for Labor Day? We don't - at least not yet anyway. The boys want to go swimming so maybe we will do that. Nathan just finished up 2 sessions of swimming lessons and I can't believe how good he got! He is a little fish now!! In fact I think he is probably pretty close to the same level as Matthew and Tyler now! I realized that the lessons they took earlier this year were nothing compared to the one's Nathan just took. It makes such a difference to have really good instructors and to take longer sessions!! Oh well, at least I know for next year right?
