My friends threw me the greatest baby shower last week -- yummy food, beautiful decorations, lots of amazing gifts and lots of fun being with all my friends and talking to everyone! I always feel so embarrassed at those types of things when they are for me. I guess I just feel funny having all the attention on me and having everyone put so much effort into it - just for me. It always amazes me though, how generous and kind everyone is and how sweet people are. In fact, they made sure that all of the food at the shower was gluten and dairy free so that I could eat all of it! Even the chocolate fountain was done with chocolate that has no milk! It was so thoughtful of them and I loved being able to eat everything!! I am so grateful - for all of these wonderful girls/women that I have become friends with here in Arizona! I really couldn't be more blessed and couldn't find better friends!
I got so many cute and adorable gifts! Thank you everyone!!! And it was so fun to get all of these girlie clothes and pink blankets! It is still such a shock to me that we are having a girl! I just don't think I will really believe it until she is here in our arms!! All of this really is a dream come true for me!! I have to keep pinching myself to know if it is real or not!!
And, since I am big and swollen and I don't feel the slightest bit cute, I will spare you the photos of me from the shower and share some of the more beautiful things -- the chocolate fountain and some of the decorations.
I am also excited to share that Making Memories is throwing me an online baby shower!! It is a first for me and it is going to be a lot of fun!! And, the thing I am most excited about is the fact that I am going to be the one giving the gifts... to you!! It is a chance for me to show how grateful I am for all that I have been receiving for this new baby! I can't share all of the details but it will be this Friday, the 25th!
