I know I have been neglecting this thing for the last few weeks (and there's a good reason!) but I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We had a great Christmas this year - stayed here in Arizona and enjoyed the nice weather! Brian's been golfing and the boys have been playing outside with their new basketball hoop! We had a nice Christmas Eve dinner and party with some of Brian's family that live here also. This was our first year being away from our parents on Christmas and it was definitely hard - and different. We missed seeing our family that lives in Utah and we missed the traditions that we had grown to love. We are heading up there soon though and are excited to see everyone!
The first part of December I was busy doing some last-minute photo shoots - rushing to get photos done for Christmas cards. I enjoyed every one of them and am so grateful for the opportunity to do something that I love so much!! I will update my galleries on the left after the new year and add in some of the photos from my recent shoots.
And finally, on to the reason that I haven't posted for such a long time - I have been sick, really really sick....... because I am expecting!!!! We are so excited and happy! Can't believe that we will have 4 kids - scares me a little!! But, it's been really hard this time - I have never been sick like this. I have always had some nausea for the first few months, but nothing that I couldn't handle. This time I have been so sick that I have had a hard time just keeping up with the day-to-day! I have spent many hours laying on the couch while the kids do whatever they want! Yikes!! I went to the doctor last week though and he put me on some medications. They are helping thankfully!! My days are much better and some nights are still not so great but at least I can function now!! I am just hoping that it will pass quickly!! Brian has been so great and so helpful with the kids and helpful around the house! And I have had some help from good friends also! Thanks everyone!!!
I hope you all enjoy the holidays!! Thanks to everyone for all your sweet comments! I am so grateful for all of the kind emails I have received lately - it really means a lot to me!! I know I haven't been the best at responding lately since I have been sick but I will try to get back to everyone!! I thought maybe after the new year we could do a question and answer thing because I know there have been questions from some of you that I haven't had a chance to answer!! Sound fun??
