The "Stuff" of Life

So, I haven't written in a while and I have been meaning to.
I have been so busy lately just doing the "stuff" of life...

* Holding my little baby Nathan who is almost 3 months old already!
* Chasing my other 2 wild and crazy boys around
* Scrapbooking - I have been in creative mode lately and I am loving it!!
* Loads and loads of laundry
* Downloading and editing tons of photos (I wish there was an easier way!!)
* Taking more photos of my kids, especially Nathan - he is changing so quickly!
* Working out
* Loading software onto my new laptop
* Trying to do fun things with the boys before Tyler starts school
* Swimming with the boys
* Going to lunch with friends and family
* Getting all geared up to go boating on our new boat!!
* Thinking about all the changes I want to make to my house!
* Talking to and hanging out with my sweet husband
* Reading lots of stories to the boys

And the list goes on....

I can't believe that summer is almost over already! It always goes way too quickly!

Great Friends

Went to dinner with friends last week - Loni Stevens, Robyn Werlich and Kerri Bradford. We met in Provo because Robyn was up from St. George for CKU. We went to California Pizza Kitchen - yum - and then we went over to Pebbles for some shopping and scouting out the latest and greatest products. We had a great time but the real fun began when we were leaving. Loni pulled out her camera so we could take a few pictures outside of Pebbles. I think we were all a little tired or something because we just started laughing  and being silly and couldn't stop. Loni was being such a goof and so funny - as usual. I was laughing so hard, I was literally crying. Loni was trying to take pictures of Robyn and me and I had to keep turning away because the tears were streaming. I have so much fun with these girls. I can just let loose and be myself and it is so great! They are both so funny and a little bit sarcastic and they always get me going! It is so great to have friends that you have so much in common with - friends that are an absolute blast to be with - friends that are always there when you are feeling down or discouraged and need some advice and encouragement - friends that love you for who you are - GREAT FRIENDS!! Funny how things work - you meet people because of what you do (scrapbooking) and you find that you have so much in common - on so many different levels. If it weren't for scrapbooking, I wouldn't be friends with these girls! I am so grateful for all of the wonderful people I have met (and continue to meet) through scrapbooking. I am grateful for friends - people who make me laugh and help me to de-stress. I need to go out with friends more often. I always feel a little guilty leaving my family but then I have so much fun. I need to do it more, need to remember that friends are an important part of my life, an important part of who I am. It feels so good to be with great friends and to have so much fun - just being girls - being silly and crazy and goofy! (Can't wait to scrapbook the pictures)

Soccer Recap

Well, the soccer session is over (ended last week) and it was a huge success!! Tyler absolutely loved going each week and he just couldn't get enough! Every day of the week he would ask me if it was the day for playing soccer and he would tell everyone to come to his games to watch him play! We did end up telling the coach about his autism (at the 2nd practice) so that he would be sensitive to Tyler's needs. With a little extra help and encouragement, Tyler figured out the drills and kept up with the other kids just fine. Nana, Papa, Aunt Brooke, Aunt Christie and his Cousin Cole all came to his last game. He was just thrilled that they were all there to see him! The whole time he kept looking over at us to make sure we were all watching him. He was so proud of himself and would tell us that he was doing a "super good job" every time he would come over for a water break. He even scored a goal during their last game!! We were all so proud of him! At the end of the last day all the kids got a medal and we took a bunch of pictures! He definitely earned it - he played so hard out there every week! I am just a proud mom - so happy to see my little guy having fun and building his self esteem! I just adore him and his desire to try so hard. He has a lot of ambition and wants to do everything so well! Not much compares to seeing him happy and smiling! His smiles and his sweet little personality just make my heart melt. I am so thankful to be his mom! Today we signed him up for another session that runs for the month of August. He starts again tomorrow  and he is so excited! I am sure he will do even better this time around since he has some experience. I love my little guy!!
