Busy with Life

Well, I haven't posted forever so I figured I better do it! I haven't been doing anything exciting - just busy with my everyday life. Nathan will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and he has reflux! He started spitting up a lot and getting really fussy last week. When I took him to his 2 week appt. he wasn't back up to his birth weight yet so the doctor was a little worried. He was only 7lb 8oz. We talked about him maybe having reflux and she said to watch him to see if it started getting worse. It has gotten a little worse each day so I took him in yesterday and we got him started on Pepcid. Matthew also had reflux and he was miserable until the medicine kicked in and then he was so much happier! Poor Nathan - he just cries after his bottles and I can tell that he is hurting. I hope the medicine starts to kick in soon so that he can feel better. I hate to see him suffer like this. On a good note - he did gain some weight and he was up to 8lb 3 oz yesterday, so that is good. I can tell that his cheeks are a little bit chubbier - so cute.
Two of my sisters-in-law are here from out of town (Sunny and Liz) so we are going to lunch today. It is fun to see them. My husband has 12 kids in his family and all of my sisters-in-law are so fun. I am lucky to have married into such an awesome family. We always have a blast when we get together.
My scrap room is a complete mess. I have been buying things and just setting them on my desk and it is really piling up. The problem is that I am out of room to put things. I ordered a big bookcase from Ikea which will add a lot of storage space. I am so anxious to get it!! I am finally going to paint in there and get it updated. It is pretty boring right now and I want it to be bright and colorful. I love color and I think it will be a lot more inspiring if I get it finished!
Here comes Matthew with a diaper and one of my belts. He always gets out this one scarf/belt that I have and drags it around the house. He likes to play with the fringe on it. And I guess, the diaper means that I need to change his bum! He is such a funny little guy!
