I have been out of town for a week so I haven't posted. I went to Arizona with my 3 boys and my mother-in-law last week. It was a last minute trip - we decided to go on Saturday and left Sunday morning! We drove. It was a long drive but not bad. The dvd player in my new car sure helps!! The boys were just great and it was fun for them to spend time bonding with Grandma. She kept singing "We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz" and Tyler thought it was hilarious for some reason. He would just start giggling every time she sang it. Then he learned it and he would sing the first part and she would sing the second part. Then he also thought it was hilarious that she said "It's belt time" when we were doing up their buckles. So every time we got back in the car he and Matthew would say "It's belt time Granny" and we would all laugh and laugh. Tyler kept saying "Be silly, Grandma." I guess he thinks she is pretty funny! My husband has 2 brothers and 2 sisters that live in Arizona. We stayed with Brad and Sunny. They are just a couple of years younger than I am and they are a blast. They have a red-haired little girl - Haylee Mae and she is so adorable. My boys love playing with her. They also had a blast playing with all of the other cousins. Each night we would turn on the hose in front of my sister-in-law, Moe's, house and the kids would run through the water in their diapers. They loved it! It was a fun trip but I felt bad that I didn't get to pay much attention to little Nathan. We were going so much that he was in his car seat a lot and I felt like I didn't get enough time to just hold and snuggle him. So, in that sense I am glad to be home, settled down so I can spend time just sitting with him while he is still little.
Nathan's reflux has not improved. I called the doctor and we switched his medicine to Prevacid. We started it on Sunday and she said it will take a week to start working. I feel so bad for him. I hope that he will start to feel better soon!
Tonight we are going to the Stinger's game. It is Pingree night at the game for Tyler's school. We are meeting both sets of grandparents to ride the trax down there. The boys are so excited to ride the "train." They will love it!
I have a ton of pictures and need to get them uploaded. Hopefully I can find the time to do it soon.
