Circle Journal

I am in a circle journal group with some friends and this is my entry into my journal. We just got started so I will post each of my entries as we go along. This is my absolute favorite photo of my boys - Tyler and Matthew. They are just under 2 years apart and they have so much fun together. It is fun to watch them develop a friendship and to see them play and interact with each other!

Memorial Day

It was a quiet day around here. It was raining the first half of the day so we just spent the day inside doing not much of anything. I spent a lot of time cuddling my newest little guy, Nathan, who is just a week and a half old. I can just hold him all day long. They grow out of the "newborn" stage too quickly so I try to take advantage of it and enjoy it while I can. I know that before long he will be running around with the other boys, not wanting to stop for more than a second to sit and cuddle with me. Brian spent the majority of the day playing baseball with Tyler in the living room. Brian pitches to Tyler and he can actually hit it most of the time! He is getting pretty good at it. I want to find a tee-ball league to put him in this summer. I think he would love it and it would be really good for him! Well, I have a long list of things on my "to-do" list and it is already noon so I figure we better get going!

Intro

Here I am. I finally decided to get with the program and start my weblog. It seems like it will be a good thing for me since I have good intentions to keep a journal but I find that I don't keep up. Hopefully this will be an easier approach and a way for me to stay on top of it - recording the little, everyday moments that mean something to me. I am always thinking - I need to write this down. And then I don't and I think that I will just remember it, but time has a way of pushing those moments out of reach in our memory. So, this will be the place - to write all of those little things down that I want to remember and hold on to forever. The simple moments that mean so much but pass so quickly.
